Game Changing Navigation, Referrals, Exit Reason, & New Audit Trails

New Quick Action Menu

Think of this as that perfect gift from a friend who just gets you! It may be small, but it makes a big impact on how you navigate Astalty. We’re excited to announce the rollout of our new Quick Action Menu, letting you move anywhere within Astalty using only your keyboard.

With the Quick Action Menu, you can:

  • Keep track of your history of viewed participants,

  • Create a task directly from the menu, and

  • Access contextual pages based on the page you’re currently on.

If you’re already using it, we’d love to hear your feedback! And if you don’t yet have access, please reach out to our support team.

Side Menu Toggle

We’ve listened to your feedback and rolled out an updated sidebar navigation! You can now choose to have it auto-hide (automatically expanding and collapsing to show minimal icons) or set it to stay permanently expanded or minimised, giving you more options for navigating Astalty the way you like.

If you prefer to disable the auto-close behaviour, simply toggle the new option in your settings. You can then control the sidebar’s open or closed state using the top toggle button or the CMD + B keyboard shortcut, putting you in full control of your workspace.

Referrals Status Filters Now Visible by Default

Status filters are now shown by default on the Referral page, giving you an at-a-glance view of every stage in the referral process. This makes it easier to scan across statuses, identify what needs attention, and save time by reducing extra clicks.

New field: Service Exit Reason

You can now record the reason a participant exits when their profile is archived. Just like with the 'Exit Date', you’ll be prompted to provide the reason during the archiving process.

The information entered is then stored in the new Exit Reason field, found on the Edit page of the participant’s profile. This ensures important exit details are consistently captured and easy to reference later.

Audit Trail Now Available In Both Plans And Services

You can now view the audit trail of changes made within both the plan and services you’re currently viewing, by selecting the option 'View Audit Trail' at the bottom of the page. This makes it easy to see exactly when a change was made and by whom, giving you confidence and peace of mind when managing plan details.

To review changes from previous plans, simply navigate to that plan through the 'All Plans' panel in 'NDIS Plans', before selecting the option 'View Audit Trail' at the bottom of the Plan and Service pages.
