This user guide article outlines the process of accessing and completing the contact import option. See the instructions below to complete this process.
Head to the page through this link here to access the import, currently this is the only way to access the import.
If you have any questions, please contact support@astalty.com.au before starting your import.
Important Information
Once you upload the file and click submit, the import process is irreversible, and contacts cannot be deleted in bulk. Double-check your data for accuracy before proceeding.
For this import to be successful, this will need to happen after you've imported your Participants. For more information on this process head to our user guide article here.
To complete the import head to the Contacts Import page and download the Import Template. To complete the template you will need to have the following information about the contact;
Contact First Name
Contact Last Name
Contact Phone Number
Contact Email
Participants NDIS Number
Relationship to Participant
Starred Contact
Is consent given to contact
Once you have completed the template you can then upload the file to the file uploader option. Simply select start import to begin the import process.
To get an idea of how the import works see the list below;
We use the NDIS number to look up the Participant
We then look for an existing contact with the following important points;
If a mobile number is provided, we will use that to find an existing contact
if no mobile is provided, we will then use the email to look for an existing contact
If not existing contact is found, we will then create one
We then link the existing contact or the newly created contact to the Participant found using the NDIS number
If you encounter any issues during the import process, please reach out to support at support@astalty.com.au for assistance.
