Business Information
This section holds four identifiers, issued by three different bodies. Your ABN and Registration Number appear on documents Astalty produces; the PACE Organisation ID and NDIS Registration ID are recorded against your business so they are on hand when you need to quote them.
| Field | Issued by | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| ABN | Australian Business Register | Your ABR registration, or ABN Lookup |
| Registration Number | NDIA | Your NDIA provider portal profile, under My Organisation Details, where the NDIA labels it Organisation ID |
| PACE Organisation ID | NDIA | Your organisation's details in the my NDIS provider portal |
| NDIS Registration ID | NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission | The Registration ID at the top of your certificate of registration |
ABN (Australian Business Number)
A unique 11-digit number that identifies your business. Your ABN will be shown on your invoices, and fills the ${Business_ABN} placeholder in Custom Templates.
Registration Number
Your NDIA provider registration number — the number you claim NDIA managed funding against. If you are not a registered provider, leave it blank.
Astalty uses it in three places:
- the
RegistrationNumbercolumn of the bulk upload file; - your invoices, when Show NDIS registration number on Invoices is ticked in Invoice Settings;
- the NDIS Provider Number line in the header of note, form and risk PDFs, and the
${Business_NDIS_Registration_Number}placeholder in Custom Templates.
Leaving it blank does not stop the bulk upload file being generated. The column is written empty instead, and the NDIA rejects the payment request when you upload it.
PACE Organisation ID
The identifier the NDIA holds for your organisation in the my NDIS provider portal. Astalty stores it against your business for reference — no invoice, claim or export reads it, so it has no effect on billing.
If it is the same number as your Registration Number, that is expected. The NDIA's Bulk Payment Requests Guide defines the registration number used for claiming as the one shown in your portal profile as Organisation ID.
NDIS Registration ID
The reference the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission holds for your registration. It comes from the Commission rather than the NDIA, so it is a different number from the two above and is not used for claiming — quote it when you contact the Commission about your registration, an audit or a renewal.
You will find it labelled Registration ID at the top of your certificate of registration. Astalty stores it against your business for reference.
GST Registered
It will also prompt you as to whether or not you are registered for GST. When it is ticked, your invoices are titled Tax Invoice rather than Invoice.
Other Information
Timezone
The timezone your business trades in. Astalty sets it from your browser when you register, and uses it for dates and times that are not tied to a record carrying a timezone of its own — invoices, claim files and note exports among them. A shift keeps the timezone it was scheduled in, so shift exports show each shift in its own.
Business Address
For convenience, you can utilise the address search functionality. Begin typing your address, and our system will assist you by suggesting matches based on your input.
If preferred, or if your address does not appear in the search, you can enter your address details manually. This ensures that even non-standard or newly established addresses can be accurately captured.
