Referrals, Notifications, Forms, Reports, Public Holidays & More

Managing referrals just got a whole lot easier.

You can now add referrals to a dedicated waitlist, giving you a simple way to keep track of potential participants when you don’t have capacity right now.

In just a couple of clicks you can now add Referrals to the Waitlist. This lets you safely park the referral and come back to it later when your capacity opens up - no more losing track or juggling reminders. While your referral is in the Under Review status, select Update Status and choose Add to Waitlist... It's that easy.

And as soon as you’re ready to take someone on, head to the Waitlist, open the referral, and update its Status to Accept or Decline. It’s a flexible, stress-free way to manage demand while staying organised and ready for what’s next.

Missing Support Notes Reminder Notifications

Are you spending a lot of time reminding support workers to complete their support notes? we've created a new reminder called the Missing Support Notes Reminder. This notifications alerts the support worker when they have missing support notes, by automatically notifying Support Workers via a push notification from their app.

These reminders help Support Workers remember to complete missing support notes in a timely manner, ensuring service delivery records remain accurate, complete, and compliant with NDIS requirements and expectations.

TeleConsult Check-In

You can now add a TeleConsult check-in directly from the + Create Task button, making it faster and easier to set up TeleConsult interactions.

Previously, TeleConsult check-ins could only be added from the task board’s Add Task page. With this update, the TeleConsult check-in interaction is now available right from the + Create Task button, saving time and reducing extra steps when creating tasks on the go.

Filter Participant Alerts Report by Caseload

You can now filter the Participant Alerts Report by Team Member and Primary/Service Coordinator, making it easier to view alerts for a specific caseload.

This update helps support teams quickly focus on participants assigned to a particular coordinator, streamlining reporting and improving oversight of your caseload.

2026 Public Holidays - All Sorted

We’ve gone ahead and added all public holidays for 2026 and 2027 into the system for every provider who is using Scheduling. You’ll now see them ready to go under the Public Holidays section within the Scheduling Settings.

Even better, any future supports (with Automatic Charges) that fall on these newly added public holidays have had their charges automatically re-synced, so the correct public holiday rates are already applied for you. One less thing to worry about!

if a public holiday is missing, you can add them in yourself. For more information on how to do this, check out our guide - click here.

Inactive Xero Pay Items

We've made things clearer when integrating Xero with Scheduling in Astalty - any pay items that are inactive in Xero will now be clearly flagged as Inactive if they appear in the selectable list. This makes it easier to identify which pay items should no longer be used and helps prevent inactive items from being selected by mistake.

Form Label Character Count

Great news! With your feedback, our engineers have added a character countdown when editing Form fields within the Form Builder so you can easily see how many characters you have remaining for a label while typing. Once the limit is reached, the field will stop accepting additional characters, helping you stay within the label’s character limit without any guesswork.

Bug Fixes

Future Shifts Incorrectly Displayed for Preferred Workers

We’ve fixed an issue where adding a support worker as Preferred in the Support Worker Compatibilities section would incorrectly show a warning tooltip for upcoming shifts.

With this update, the system will now only display the Future Shifts badge when a support worker is incompatible. Preferred workers will no longer trigger these warnings, making it clearer and easier to manage compatibilities.
