Shift Variance Report

You can find the Shift Variance Report by navigating to the Reports page in Astalty, scrolling down to the Scheduling section and selecting Shift Variance or by clicking here.

Overview

The Shift Variance Report shows the difference between the scheduled shift times and the actual clock-in and clock-out times recorded by support workers. This allows you to track lateness, early finishes, or extended shifts and compare scheduled vs. worked hours. The report can also be filtered by date range.

The report displays key details for each shift, including:

• Support Worker

• Scheduled Start Time

• Scheduled End Time

• Actual Clock In Time

• Actual Clock Out Time

• Start and End Time Variances (difference between scheduled and actual times) — Duration format: h = hours, m = minutes.

To view reasons for lateness, click the arrow next to a support worker’s name in the report. Any notes they've added in relation to clocking in or out will be displayed.
