Shift Variance Report

This is an Astalty Scheduling feature which is currently in beta testing and not accessible by all customers.

Overview

The Shift Variance Report shows the difference between the scheduled shift times and the actual clock-in and clock-out times recorded by support workers. This allows you to track lateness, early finishes, or extended shifts and compare scheduled vs. worked hours. The report can also be filtered by date range.

Accessing the Shift Variance Report

From the left-hand side menu, click Reports.
Scroll down to the Scheduling section.
Select Shift Variance Report.

The report displays key details for each shift, including:

Support Worker
Scheduled Start Time
Scheduled End Time
Actual Clock In Time
Actual Clock Out Time
Start and End Time Variances (difference between scheduled and actual times)

You can also quickly see the late reasons by clicking the arrow next to the support worker’s name in the report. This will display any notes the support worker added when clocking in or out.
