Supports Without Notes Export

Overview

The Supports Without Notes Export provides a CSV file of all completed supports that do not have an associated case note, filtered by date range. This export gives you a clear, shareable record of where notes are missing — making it easier to spot trends, identify gaps, and follow up on any compliance areas that require attention.

The export can be filtered by Cancellation Status, Participants and Users, so you can focus on the specific cohort you need to action.

Accessing the Supports Without Notes Export

  1. From the left-hand side menu, click Exports.

  2. Scroll down to the Shifts section.

  3. Select Supports Without Notes Export.

Configure the Export

Before selecting Create Export, use the available options to configure the export.

Set the Date Range

This will generate an export containing all completed supports without notes for the selected duration.

Cancellation Status

Use the Cancellation Status filter to choose which supports the export should include:

  • Not Cancelled — completed supports that went ahead and are missing a note.

  • Cancelled — supports that were cancelled and are missing a note.

  • To select both Cancelled and Not Cancelled supports, click on the X to clear the selection.


This filter is helpful when you want to separate active compliance follow-ups from cancelled supports that may still require a note.

Participants

This field is optional. If left blank, the Export will include supports without notes for all Participants within the selected date range, subject to the other selection criteria. You may select one or multiple Participants by clicking on them in the drop down to limit the results to specific individuals.

Users

This field is also optional and allows you to further refine the Export based on the Users involved in the supports. If left blank, the Export will include supports without notes for all Users within the selected date range, subject to the other selection criteria. You may select one or multiple Users by clicking on them in the drop down.

Generating the Export

Click on the Create Export button.

Downloading the Export

When the export is ready it will appear on the Exports page where you can click on Download to save it to your device.

Export taking longer than expected?

If your export contains a large amount of data, it may take longer to generate. When an export is expected to take more than 20 seconds to process, Astalty will automatically send you an email once the file is ready.

Exported Fields

The export displays key details for each support, including:

  • Support Worker

  • Participants

  • Start Time

  • End Time

  • Clock In At

  • Clock Out At

  • Days Since Clock Out — shows how long it has been since the shift ended, helping you track overdue case notes.

  • Cancellation Status
