Getting Help

Contact us by email

The quickest way to reach a person is to email us at support@astalty.com.au.

You can also reach our support team from inside Astalty, without leaving the page you're on.

Get help inside Astalty

Every page of Astalty has a Support button in the header at the top of the screen. It opens a How can we help? window with three options:

OptionUse it forWhat you'll be asked
Report a bugSomething isn't working the way it shouldThe URL in the address bar where the bug happens, what you're trying to do, what happens, what you expect to happen instead, and any additional information
Feature requestSuggesting an improvement or something newWhat problem you're trying to solve, how you're currently solving it, the feature that would solve it, and any additional information
Ask a questionGeneral "how do I…" questionsYour question

Once you submit, you'll see a confirmation that we've received your request, and our support team will reply to you by email.

Try these first

Many questions have an answer already written up, and these are quicker than waiting on a reply:

  • Search and Ask AI — at the top of every page in this guide. Search finds the relevant article; Ask AI answers in your own words.
  • Training — live sessions twice a month with the Astalty team, plus free self-paced courses in the Astalty Learning Centre.
  • Videos and Training & Updates — walkthroughs and structured video playlists.
  • Changelog — what's changed recently, in case a behaviour you're seeing is new.

Reporting an issue with the Support Worker App

If the problem is in the Astalty app on a phone or tablet rather than in your browser, start with Diagnosing app issues. It covers the quick checks worth trying first — such as hard closing the app and checking the runtime version — and the details to collect before you report it.

What to include when you contact us

The more of this you can give us up front, the faster we can resolve it:

  • Where — the URL or the screen you were on.
  • What you did — the steps that led to the problem.
  • What happened — including the exact wording of any error message.
  • What you expected to happen instead.
  • A screenshot or screen recording — paste it straight into the support form.
  • A reference — the participant, shift, invoice, or user the issue relates to, if it only affects certain records.
