Participant Risk Added Notification
Participant Risk Added Notifications let your team know as soon as a new risk is added to a Participant profile. This helps reduce the need for manual follow-up and means staff don't need to keep checking reports or exports to see whether a risk has been created.
To manage Participant Risk Added Notifications, head to the Notifications page in the main menu, open the Participants tab and select Participant Risk Added or click here.
Creating a Participant Risk Added Notification
Creating a Participant Risk Added Notification is a simple process. Start by clicking Create Notification.
Notification Email Content
This is where you can add additional information to the notification email. For example, you could include details of what your organisation normally does when a new Participant risk is identified and what the next steps are.
Notification Recipients
Primary Coordinator
Select this option to notify the Participant's assigned Primary Coordinator.
Service Coordinator
Select this option to notify the Participant's assigned Service Coordinator.
User Groups
This enables you to select which User Groups you wish to be notified.
Users
This enables you to notify a user directly.
Notification Methods
Within Astalty
If this option is selected, the user will be notified within Astalty.
If this option is selected, the user will be notified via email.
You can select both options if you'd like staff to receive an in-app alert and an email.
Finalising Your Notification
After entering all the relevant information, click Add Notification to save it.
What Happens After Setup
Once saved, the notification runs automatically. Each time a new risk is added to a Participant, Astalty checks your saved notification settings and sends the alert to the matching recipients.
If email is enabled, the email will include the risk title, the Participant's name, and a link to view the risk directly.
Things to Know
This notification applies to newly added Participant risks only. It is separate from the Participant Risk Review Notification, which is used for review reminders rather than new risk alerts.
You can create more than one notification configuration if needed.
If the same person is included more than once across your recipient selections, they will only receive one notification.
Deactivated users will not be notified.
If no valid recipients are available when a risk is created, nothing will be sent.
