Feedback Notifications
Feedback notifications alert your team as soon as new feedback or a complaint is received.
Overview
A Feedback notification is sent each time a feedback form is submitted and Astalty adds the entry to your Feedback register. It has no timing settings: every notification you set up is sent for every new entry. For how entries are recorded and followed up, see Feedback and Complaints.
Only Admins can open Notifications and create, edit or delete these notifications. This can't be changed per user.
Where to Find It
- Go to Notifications in the main menu.
- Under the Forms group, select Feedback. You can also type
feedbackinto Search notifications.
The Feedback notification appears when Forms and Feedback are part of your plan.
Creating the Notification
On the Feedback Notifications page, click Create Notification and complete the form.
Notification Email Content
Optional content added to the body of the email when Email is a delivery method, for example the steps your team takes when a complaint arrives.
Notification Recipients
Choose who should receive the notification. You must select at least one recipient.
- User Groups - notify everyone in the selected User Groups. The All Users and Support Worker groups aren't offered.
- Users - notify specific users directly.
Notification Methods
- Within Astalty - recipients are notified inside Astalty. Ticked by default.
- Email - recipients are notified by email. Ticked by default.
Click Add Notification to save.
Managing the Notification
Use the actions menu on a notification to Edit, Clone or Delete it. Delete is also in the Edit view. If you set up more than one Feedback notification, each one is sent for every new entry.
What Recipients See
- In Astalty - a notification titled New Feedback Notification with the message "New feedback has been received" and a View Feedback link to the entry.
- Email - the subject is New Feedback. The email includes any content you added and a View Feedback button.
Deactivated users are skipped, even if they are in a selected group, and a user who qualifies more than once gets one notification.
