Supports Without Plan Service Report

The Supports Without Plan Service Report lists supports that no Plan Service on the Participant's plan covers, so you can fix the plan or the support.

Before You Start

The report is available to Admins, and to Managers who have Can access Scheduling turned on. Team Members and Support Workers can't open it.

Where to Find It

  1. From the left-hand menu, select Reports.
  2. Under Scheduling, select Supports without Plan Service.

Which Supports Are Listed

Astalty checks each support that has a Charge Item Set against the Participant's Services, which the report calls Plan Services. A support is covered when one of the Participant's Plan Services both:

  • includes the support's Charge Item Set, and
  • starts on or before the support starts, and ends on or after the support ends.

A support with no such Plan Service is listed. That happens when:

  • none of the Participant's Plan Services includes the support's Charge Item Set, or
  • one does, but its dates don't cover the whole support. For example, the support falls after the plan has ended, or runs past the end of the Plan Service.

Keep in mind:

  • Supports with no Charge Item Set are never listed.
  • Cancelled supports are not excluded.
  • A Charge Item Set marked inactive on a Plan Service still counts as included.
  • For a group support, each Participant's support is checked against that Participant's own plan and listed on its own row.

To clear a support from the report, add or update a Service on the Participant's plan so that it includes the support's Charge Item Set and covers the support's dates, or give the support a different Charge Item Set.

Filters

Date
Matches the support's start date. The filter is always applied and opens on the current month. Both the start and end dates are included in full. Quick presets cover the last and this week, fortnight, month, quarter and year, or you can pick your own dates.

Search

Understanding the Results

Each row is one support:

ColumnWhat it shows
SupportThe Participant's name, with an icon showing whether it is an individual support or part of a group support.
Start TimeWhen the support starts.
End TimeWhen the support ends.
Support TypeThe support's type, such as Personal Care or Community Access.
ParticipantThe Participant the support is for.
Plan ServicesThe Participant's Plan Services that include the support's Charge Item Set, each with its start and end dates. Empty when no Plan Service includes it.

The Plan Services column shows why a support is listed. When it is empty, the Charge Item Set is missing from the plan. When it lists a Plan Service, compare its dates with the support's start and end times.
