Participant Reminder Status Report
The Participant Reminder Status Report gives you an at-a-glance view of which Participants are set up to receive SMS Reminders, whether they have a valid mobile number on file, and whether any nominated contacts will also receive those reminders. Use it to find Participants who have opted out, whose mobile is missing or invalid, or whose nominated contacts cannot be reached — before relying on reminders to reduce no-shows.
Opening the report
Navigate to the Reports page in Astalty and, under Participant reports, select Participant Reminder Status.
The report lists every active Participant, sorted by name, with one row per Participant.
Report columns
Participant
The Participant's name. Use the three-dot menu at the end of the row and choose View Participant to open their profile in a new tab — handy for checking or updating their reminder settings and mobile number.
Support Reminders
Shows the Participant's own Support Reminders opt-in as Enabled or Disabled, plus chips for nominated contacts when they exist:
- Enabled / Disabled — the Participant's own opt-in (unchanged from before). Reminders to the Participant are opt-in and default to Disabled.
- +1 contact / +N contacts — green, only when at least one nominated contact can receive support reminders.
- N unreachable — amber, when nominated contacts exist that cannot receive (no mobile, invalid mobile, or opted out).
So a row reading Disabled with +2 contacts means the Participant is not opted in, but two contacts do receive the support reminders.
Calendar Reminders
The same chip pattern as Support Reminders, for Calendar Appointment Reminders. As above, this column only appears when your organisation has at least one calendar reminder configured.
Mobile
The status of the Participant's mobile number:
- Valid — a valid Australian mobile number is on file.
- Invalid — a number is recorded, but it isn't a valid Australian mobile (for example a landline or a mistyped number).
- Missing — no mobile number is recorded for the Participant.
- Opted out — red. The Participant has opted out of SMS (for example by replying STOP). This takes precedence over Valid / Invalid / Missing.
A reminder can only be delivered to the Participant when Mobile is Valid (and they are opted in for that channel). Nominated contacts are evaluated separately — see the contact chips above.

Filter to Participants who have Calendar Reminders Enabled or Disabled. This filter only appears when calendar reminders exist. The same contacts-only quirk applies.
