Xero Payroll Integration for Scheduling

Overview

This guide explains how to set up Xero Payroll Integration for Scheduling between Astalty and Xero.

Astalty allows you to integrate with your Xero account so that Timesheet Batches created from Scheduling can be sent directly to Xero for payroll processing. This integration reduces manual payroll entry and ensures that employee hours recorded in Astalty are accurately transferred to Xero.

This guide outlines the steps an Admin user must complete to prepare both Astalty and Xero for the integration.

Once configured, you will be able to:

• Map Pay Items from Xero to Astalty

• Send approved Timesheet Batches from Astalty to Xero

• Process payroll in Xero using the hours recorded in Astalty

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, ensure the following requirements are met:

• You have Admin access in Astalty.

• You have Payroll Admin access in Xero.

• Your organisation is using Xero Payroll.

• Employees exist in both Astalty and Xero.

• You have a Payroll Calendar set up in Xero

  • This can be configured in Payroll Settings, where you can set the Pay Frequency used to manage the Pay Period for your Support Workers. If a payroll calendar has not yet been created, select Add to create one.
