Teams Tracking Categories in Xero
Overview
If you have Tracking Categories setup in Xero, you may choose to setup your Teams in Astalty with Tracking Categories assigned. Once setup, it allows you to define the Tracking Category per invoiced charge item which is assigned based on which Team the user who delivered the service was assigned to. For Tracking Category information to sync you must have your Xero Integration connected in Astalty and the users must be assigned to a Team that has the Tracking Category defined.

If you don't have these setup in your Xero, Tracking Categories can be found via your Accounting Settings page within your Xero account.
Teams Setup in Astalty
For Tracking Categories to sync from Astalty to your Xero account, you will need to have one or more Teams created, Tracking Categories assigned to the teams where you need that information synced and users assigned as team members.
Users can only be assigned to one team
It's important to note that users can only be assigned to one team at a time. Its suggested that if you are want to assign a user to multiple, you will need to consider using the groups instead.
If you have Teams created in Astalty, selecting the 3 dot menu allows you to

Example - Invoicing Tasks and Teams Tracking Categories
In the following example the teams have been setup with the tracking categories from Xero and users have been assigned to their respective teams.
To demonstrate how tracking category information can flow from Astalty to Xero, the 2 users sit within different teams (Eastside and South). Both these users have created billable tasks.
Once invoiced, you can navigate to the invoice in Xero by selecting the View in Xero button from the Invoice in Astalty.
When viewing the invoice in Xero, the tracking categories will be assigned to the individual charge items per the categories assigned to the team that each user sits within (e.g. region).
