Document Export, User Records Filter, Direct Charges and a Bug Fix

New Document Export

Wow, they've knocked this one out of the park! Our development team have been hard at work and created a brand new Document Export feature.

With this update, you can now easily download a ZIP file containing all of a participant’s documents in just a few clicks. Whether you’re preparing a participant handover or simply need to keep a full backup of their files, this makes the process faster, easier, and far more efficient.

No more manually downloading documents one by one, the Document Export does all the heavy lifting for you. This is especially handy when you need to share information with external parties or support a smooth transition between coordinators.

New Filter in User Records

Though a minor update, it’s another great one from our development team that's sure to make all those managers and wonderful HR folks happy! You can now filter User Records by Group.

This handy new addition makes it even easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. It’s especially useful if you’ve set up teams or custom groups to manage your staff - you can now quickly filter records that are required for or assigned to users within a specific group. No more scrolling through long lists or guessing who’s where!

It’s a simple but powerful way for managers and administrative users to monitor progress, stay organised, and keep their teams accountable.

Direct Charges Now Available

Direct Charges are now enabled for all Astalty Premium customers! If you’re new to this functionality, currently only Account Owners have access by default. However, Account Owners can grant access to other admin or manager users via the permission settings (access to both Finance, and Direct Charges)

Direct Charges allow you to bill for items that are not linked to a specific task or scheduled support, making them ideal for situations such as:

  • Respite

  • Centre Capital Costs

  • Non-face-to-Face work

  • Direct charges for Supported Independent Living

This feature gives you more flexibility in billing and ensures all relevant costs can be captured efficiently.

Bug Fixes

Timezone Bug Exterminated

Our engineers went full Doctor Who mode and successfully exterminated a particularly pesky time zone–hopping Dalek… oops, we mean bug - that had been sneaking around Plans and Funding Periods.

This bug was causing inconsistencies for users in different time zones from their provider time zone, affecting how plan and funding period dates were viewed and edited, and leading to some unexpected behaviour when managing plan schedules.

It’s now completely resolved, ensuring all your plan start and end dates stay consistent and accurate, no matter where you’re operating from.
