Participant Check-In

Introduction

The Participant Check-In functionality is designed to efficiently monitor and track interactions with Participants. This feature allows for the setting up of customisable check-in periods, facilitating ongoing support and interaction management based on the individual’s funding, preferences, and support needs.

Setting Up a Check-In Period

Accessing Participant Profile: Begin by navigating to the participant’s profile within the system.

Editing Profile: On the main profile screen, locate and click on the edit pencil icon to modify the profile.

Customising Check-In Period

Within the editing section, you will find the option to set a check-in period. This period can be customized to any length based on the Participant’s needs and preferences. For instance, a check-in period can be set for every seven days to ensure regular interaction.

Updating Check-Ins

Accessing Task Board: To update a check-in, start from the task board.

Adding Case Notes: Click into the specific task related to the Participant. As you add your case notes, look for the check-in functionality option.

Selecting Interaction Type: You can then choose the method of interaction for the check-in, such as Email, Phone, SMS, Face-to-Face, or Teleconsult. Note that this functionality should only be used for actual interactions with the Participant and not for communications with external stakeholders.

Monitoring Check-In Status

Viewing Participants: To review the status of any check-in period, click on the “Participants” section.

Applying Filters: Add a filter by selecting “Check-In Status.” This allows you to view Participants based on their check-in status, whether they are Overdue, Due Today, Due Tomorrow, or Due within the Next Seven Days.

Conclusion

The Participant Check-In feature is a crucial tool for NDIS professionals, offering a structured and efficient way to maintain consistent and meaningful engagement with Participants. By following this procedure, users can enhance their support coordination efforts, ensuring timely and personalised care for each Participant.
