Uploading Documents
Astalty lets you upload and manage documents across your account — from Participant and User profiles to Tasks, Notes, Plans, and Directory records. Documents are stored centrally so you can find, categorise, send, and archive them from a single place.
Where you can upload documents
Documents can be attached to a wide range of records in Astalty, including:
- Participant profiles – upload directly from the Documents tab on any Participant. See Participant Documents.
- Tasks & Notes – attach supporting files to a Task or directly to a Note. See Adding Documents to a Task.
- User profiles – store compliance documents, certifications, or other files against a User. See User Documents.
- Directory records – upload documents to Contacts, Organisations, and Plan Managers via the Directory.
Categorising documents
You can assign Categories to documents when uploading or at any time afterwards. Categories make it easy to filter and find documents later. If the Category you need doesn't exist yet, you can create one on the fly during upload or manage them from Documents Settings.
Bulk importing documents
If you're migrating to Astalty and need to import documents in bulk, see the Documents Import guide.
