6 October 2026

In this session, we walk through some of the new features released in Astalty throughout September 2026, covering updates to NDIS claiming and NDIA forms, Participant and incident oversight, team retention and exit reasons, setup and finance tools, and Astalty Premium.

What's Covered

  • Short Term Accommodation Hourly Claiming — set up STA to claim by the hour in line with the updated NDIS price guide, using the new Standard and High Intensity Charge Item Set presets.
  • NDIA Plan Request Forms — generate the three new forms (Plan Reassessment Request, Plan Variation Request, and Update Name, Pronouns or Gender) that replace the retired Change of Details or Situation form, pre-filled from the Participant profile.
  • Participant Retention Report — track monthly Participant entries, exits, churn and tenure, with retention cohorts that let you compare intakes over time.
  • Incident Follow-Up Notifications — get an alert when an incident has stayed in the same status for longer than a set number of days.
  • Exit Reasons — record why a team member is leaving when you deactivate them, using the default reasons or your own.
  • Staff Retention Report (Beta) — see team member starts, exits, churn, average tenure and an exit reasons breakdown month by month.
  • Starter Templates — browse a library of ready-made record types and document templates, such as Service Agreements and Support Plans, and import them in a few clicks.
  • Billable Charges Report CSV Export — export the Billable Charges Report as a CSV with full line-item detail.
  • Astalty Premium Inclusions — Regions, Skills, Qualifications, Charge Item Set Overrides and the Participant Retention Report are now included with Premium.
  • Astalty API — the API is out of beta and available to every provider on Astalty Premium, with keys managed by the Account Owner and Admins with the relevant permission.
