> Astalty updates released on 15 October 2026: Emergency Contacts Without a Phone Number; Budget Item Numbers; Weekly and Fortnightly Register Reviews...

## Emergency Contacts Without a Phone Number

A staff member's Emergency Contact or Next of Kin can now be saved with a phone number, an email address, or both - a phone number is no longer mandatory. Up to 10 contacts are still allowed across both roles, and more than one contact can now hold each role.

![A user's profile page, with an orange arrow pointing to the outlined Emergency Contacts & Next of Kin card and an Add Contact button in the top right. The card's table has Role, Name, Phone and Email columns, listing an Emergency Contact row for Priya Brown (Sister) with an email address and no phone, and a Next of Kin row for Tom Lee (Partner) with a phone number and no email.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/updating-users-emergency-contacts-card.png)

![The Add Contact drawer with Next of Kin selected as the Role, Name "Maya Patel" and Relationship "Friend" filled in. An orange box and arrow highlight the empty Phone field and its red validation message, "Enter a phone number or an email address", beside an empty Email field.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/updating-users-add-contact-drawer.png)

For more information, visit the [Updating User Profiles and Changing Passwords](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/users/updating-users#emergency-contacts-and-next-of-kin) guide.

## Budget Item Numbers

Each Budget Item's line item number now shows under its name in the Budget Items list. On an Internal Budget, searching Charge Items also shows the line item number beside the Reference, so items sharing a name can be told apart.

![The Budget Items list on an Internal Budget, with an arrow pointing to an item whose line item number appears in small grey text under its name.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/budget-items-list-number.png)

![The Add Budget Item drawer with Provider Travel typed into Search from Charge Items. The highlighted results show each Charge Item's Reference with its line item number beside it, such as CA\_KM\_NOT\_DURING 04\_799\_0125\_6\_1.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/budget-item-charge-item-search-number.png)

For more information, visit the [Budget Functionality](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/participants/budgets#budget-item-numbers) guide.

## Weekly and Fortnightly Register Reviews

A custom register's **Review every** cadence can now be set in weeks or fortnights, not only months - up to 156 weeks, 78 fortnights or 36 months, all roughly 3 years. Changing the count or unit reveals **Update review dates for existing entries**: ticked, every entry's next review moves to the new cadence from today; left off, only future reviews pick it up. Archived and cancelled entries are never changed.

![The Reviews section of the Edit Settings drawer, with Review every set to 2 Fortnights and Update review dates for existing entries ticked](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/registers-edit-settings-reviews.png)

For more information, visit the [Register Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/registers/register-settings#settings) guide.

## Flexible Group Supports

A new **Flexible Group Support** shift type bills each worker's time on a Group Support in separate blocks, rather than one ratio shared by everyone for the whole shift. Each block sets its own Participants, time window, Charge Item Set and ratio, so a worker's rate and the Participants they're covering can change partway through a shift - useful in Supported Independent Living and other shared-living arrangements. It's an optional beta feature; contact Astalty Support to have it enabled on your account.

![A worker's three back-to-back blocks: 6am-10am With all three Participants at 1:3 on Same as default, 10am-1pm With two Participants at 1:2 overridden to CA, and 1pm-2pm With all three at 1:3 overridden to SILR.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/flexible-group-support-workers-blocks.png)

For more information, visit the [Adding a Flexible Group Shift](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/adding-shifts/adding-a-flexible-group-shift) guide.

## Downloading a Participant Invoice Statement

A Participant's **Financial** page now has a **Download Statement** button above their invoices table, shown only to a reader with Finance module access. It opens a dialog to choose the invoice management type and a period - with preset ranges or a custom one, up to 366 days and not starting in the future - and generates a PDF with the opening and closing balance, an activity ledger, a still-owing table and bank details.

For more information, visit the [Financial](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/participants/financial#downloading-a-statement) guide.

## About This Record on User Record Types

A User Record Type's setup can now include an **About this record** field - formatted text explaining what the record is and where to get it. When set, it shows to a worker adding, editing or viewing a Record of that type, on the web and in the mobile app's Upload Record screen, above any Upload Instructions.

For more information, visit the [User Records](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/users-settings/user-records#setting-up-user-record-types) guide.

## Download All Submission Documents

Form submissions with attached files now have a **Download All** option in the Submitted Documents panel, packaging every attachment into a single zip instead of downloading them one at a time.

![The Submitted Documents panel with the Actions menu open on Download All.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/forms-submitted-documents-download-all.png)

For more information, visit the [Viewing Submissions for a Form](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/forms/manage-forms/submissions#downloading-all-documents) guide.

## Participant Contacts Export

The Participant Contacts export's CSV now includes a **Participant Status** column, and its old **Status** column is renamed to **Contact Status** - so a Participant's own Active/Archived status can be told apart from whether their relationship with that contact is active.

For more information, visit the [Participant Contacts Export](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/exports/participant-contacts-export#exported-fields) guide.

## Team Billable Hours Export

Selecting a deactivated team member in the Team Billable Hours export now includes their hours automatically. The **Include deactivated users** checkbox only shows when no team member is selected, since it no longer applies.

![The Team Billable Hours Export form with a team member selected and no Include deactivated users checkbox shown.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/team-billable-hours-export-team-member-selected.png)

For more information, visit the [Team Billable Hours Export](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/exports/team-billable-hours#select-a-team-member) guide.

## Participant Placeholders for Invoice Reminders

Invoice reminder emails can now include Participant placeholders - first name, full name, NDIS number and preferred name - so a reminder can greet the recipient by name instead of opening with a generic greeting.

![The Create Invoice Reminder drawer with an arrow pointing to the highlighted Participant placeholder menu in the email editor, listing First Name, Full Name, NDIS Number and Preferred Name.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/invoice-reminder-participant-placeholders.png)

For more information, visit the [Invoice Reminders](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/invoices-settings/invoice-reminder-email#participant-placeholders) guide.

## Team Billables Export: Unit Cost and Total Cost

The Team Billables export now includes **Unit Cost** and **Total Cost** columns, matching the Billable Charges Report. These columns only appear for roles with the Access Finance Module permission (Admin and Manager by default).

For more information, visit the [Team Billables Export](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/exports/team-billable-export#exported-fields) guide.

## Exclude Team Member Names from Notes Export

The Participant Notes Export now has an **Exclude team member names** option. Turning it on drops the author from the file - removing **Created By** from the CSV and **Written By** from each PDF note - making it easier to share the export with Participants or families.

![The Export Options section of the Notes export, with unticked Include formatting, Exclude check-ins and Exclude team member names checkboxes above the Create Export button.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/notes-export-exclude-team-member-names.png)

For more information, visit the [Participant Notes Export](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/exports/notes-export#export-options) guide.

## Group Channel Photos

Group channels can now show a custom photo instead of coloured initials. Anyone who can rename the group - admins, by default - can set, change or remove it from **Manage Channel**, and it updates everywhere the channel appears: the chat list, the channel header and chat search.

![The Channel Details panel for a group channel, with a camera icon on the channel's initials photo beside the Channel Name field, above the Read-only channel toggle and the Linked User Groups section.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/group-channel-photo-upload.png)

For more information, visit the [Group Channels](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/chat/group-channels#updating-a-group-channel-photo) guide.

## Site Address Updates Now Sync to Scheduled Supports

Updating a site's address now also updates any upcoming Scheduled Supports - 1:1 shifts and Group Supports - still linked to the site's previous address, so Support Workers see the new address in the mobile app. Untick **Update linked Scheduled Supports**, ticked by default, to change only the site's own address.

![The Update Address form with a highlighted note that updating the address also updates upcoming Scheduled Supports still at the site's current address. Update linked Scheduled Supports is ticked, above the Address Lookup and manual address fields.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/update-site-address.png)

For more information, visit the [Creating and Managing Sites](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/creating-and-managing-sites#updating-a-sites-address) guide.

## Admin API Key and Webhook Access

The Account Owner can now grant an Admin **Can manage API keys and webhooks**, letting that Admin open the API Dashboard and manage the account's API keys and webhooks without being the owner. Only the Account Owner can grant or revoke this access.

![The Can manage API keys and webhooks checkbox ticked, revealing a warning that this permission bypasses every other permission on the page, two acknowledgement checkboxes, and a Confirmation field for typing the user's full name, where pasting is disabled.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/admin-api-access-warning.png)

For more information, visit the [Updating Roles and Permissions](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/roles-and-permissions#granting-api-key-and-webhook-access) guide.

## Outlook Add-In: Add Email to an Existing Task

The Astalty for Outlook add-in can now add an open email - plus an optional note and its attachments - to a task you already have, instead of always creating a new one. Use the new **Existing task** tab, or the **⋮ → Add this email** shortcut on a linked task.

![Existing task tab with the task picker open, listing a Linked task and a task already marked Added.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/outlook-add-in-existing-task-picker.png)

![Linked task in the Astalty for Outlook panel with its more actions menu open and Add this email highlighted.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/outlook-add-in-add-this-email.png)

For more information, visit the [Astalty for Outlook](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/other/astalty-outlook-add-in#adding-an-email-to-a-task-you-already-have) guide.

## Incident Report PDFs

Incident report PDFs - from a single incident or a bulk Incidents Export - can now include an **Action Plan** listing the incident's action items, each with its assignee, due date and status. It's on by default once Action Items is enabled.

![The Action Plan section of an incident report PDF, listing each action's title, assignee, due date and status](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/incident-report-pdf-action-plan.png)

For more information, visit the [Incident Follow Up](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/incidents/incident-follow-up#exporting-an-incident-report-pdf) guide.

## Region Filter for Create Invoice Batch

Creating an invoice batch now lets you filter the charge list by Region before generating the draft, matching the Region filter already on the Invoices and Invoice Batches lists.

For more information, visit the [Invoice Batches](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/finance/invoicing/invoice-batches#filters) guide.

## Outlook Add-In: Smarter Attachments and Dark Mode

The Astalty for Outlook panel now checks upfront what your Outlook version can attach, showing a clear message instead of failing silently after the task is saved, and remembers your attach choices separately on each computer. The panel also now matches Outlook's light or dark theme automatically.

![Log a task form on an Outlook version that can't attach the email, showing the attachments control with the message This version of Outlook can't attach the email itself.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/outlook-add-in-attach-unsupported-email.png)

![Astalty for Outlook panel in dark theme, showing the Linked tasks section and Log a task form matching Outlook's dark mode.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/outlook-add-in-dark-theme.png)

For more information, visit the [Astalty for Outlook](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/other/astalty-outlook-add-in#attaching-the-email-and-its-files) guide.

## Excluding a State Public Holiday for a Group

A state public holiday can now be excluded for specific Public Holiday Groups, so it still applies everywhere else in the state. Participants in an excluded group aren't charged public holiday rates that day, and a shift only supporting them isn't paid at public holiday rates either.

![The Public Holidays list with the ellipsis menu open on Melbourne Cup, showing the Exclude Groups action](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/public-holiday-exclude-groups-action.png)

![The Exclude Groups from Melbourne Cup panel with Greater Geelong added to Excluded Groups](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/public-holiday-exclude-groups-drawer.png)

For more information, visit the [Public Holidays](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/setup/public-holidays#excluding-a-state-holiday-for-a-group) guide.

## Goals as a Table in Document Templates

Document templates can now lay a Participant's Goals out as a table - one row per Goal, with Goal, Description, Achievement Strategies and Achievement Barriers columns - alongside the existing bulleted list.

![A generated document showing a participant's goals as a table, with Goal, Description, Achievement Strategies, and Achievement Barriers columns](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/participant-goals-table-placeholder.png)

For more information, visit the [Goals](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/participants/goals#using-goals-in-document-templates) guide.

## Site Manager Alerts for Unread Participant Records

The Participant Record Acknowledgement Escalation Notification can now alert a Site Manager when a Support Worker hasn't read a Participant's records before a shift at that manager's site.

![The Who should be alerted? section with Primary Coordinator and Service Coordinator ticked, and Site Manager unticked with a note that it is only sent for shifts at a site that has a site manager.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/participant-record-acknowledgement-escalation-site-manager.png)

For more information, visit the [Participant Record Acknowledgement Escalation Notification](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/notifications/participant-record-acknowledgement-escalation-notification#choose-who-is-alerted) guide.

## Aged Receivables Report CSV Export

The Aged Receivables Report can now be exported to CSV, downloading the report's totals - for the chosen date, grouping and filters - instead of rebuilding them from another export.

![The Aged Receivables Report with the Export CSV button above the table](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/aged-receivables-report-export-csv-button.png)

For more information, visit the [Aged Receivables Report](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/reports/aged-receivables-report#exporting-to-csv) guide.

## Bulk Deleting Shifts

Admins and Managers with Scheduling access can now select shifts on the All Shifts page and delete them all at once via Actions → Delete, instead of removing them one at a time. Deleting a shift that's part of a Support, Group Support or Internal Event removes the entire event, and a confirmation dialog lists everyone affected before anything is removed.

![The All Shifts page with three shifts ticked and the Actions menu open, showing Delete 3 Shifts beside the Publish 3 Shifts button.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/all-shifts-delete-action-menu.png)

![The Delete Shifts dialog stating it deletes 3 supports and cannot be undone, listing each affected Worker with their shift date and time, with I understand and would like to proceed ticked and the Delete button.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/all-shifts-delete-confirmation.png)

For more information, visit the [Published and Unpublished Shifts](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/published-and-unpublished-shifts#bulk-deleting) guide.

## Hours Summary on the PDF Shifts Export

The PDF Shifts Export now ends with an Hours Summary: each worker's shift count and total scheduled hours for the date range, plus a grand Total row. Workers are listed by full name, sorted alphabetically with Unassigned last. Exports over 200 shifts are split into multiple PDFs, with the summary only on the final one.

![Hours Summary at the end of the PDF Shifts Export, listing each worker's shift count and total hours with a grand total row](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/cus-1114/shifts-export-pdf-hours-summary.png)

For more information, visit the [Shifts Export](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/exports/shifts-export#choose-the-export-format) guide.

## Marking a Charge Item or Charge Item Set Inactive on a Service

A Charge Item or Charge Item Set can now be marked inactive on a single Participant's Service, stopping it being used for that Participant while it stays available to everyone else and past charges keep counting towards Utilisation.

![A Charge Item Set on a Service with its Actions menu open, showing the Mark Inactive on This Service option above the set's list of Charge Items.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/service-charge-item-set-mark-inactive-menu.png)

![The Mark Inactive on This Service dialog over a Service Summary, explaining that the Charge Item can no longer be selected for this Participant on this Service, with Cancel and Mark Inactive buttons.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/service-charge-item-mark-inactive-confirm.png)

![The Service Summary page with a Charge Item in the Charge Items table showing an Inactive badge under its name.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/service-charge-item-inactive-badge.png)

For more information, visit the [Services](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/participants/ndis-plan/services#marking-a-charge-item-or-charge-item-set-inactive) guide.

## Upload Instructions on User Record Types

A User Record Type can now include formatted Upload Instructions. When set, they show as a note inside the document upload box whenever someone adds or edits a Record of that type, as long as the Record Type requires a document.

![The Edit User Record Type drawer with the Upload instructions field under Documents required, showing formatted instructions for a First Aid Certificate](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/user-record-types-upload-instructions-field.png)

![The Add User Record drawer for a First Aid Certificate, with the formatted upload instructions showing inside the document upload box](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/create-user-record-upload-instructions-alert.png)

For more information, visit the [User Records](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/users-settings/user-records#setting-up-user-record-types) guide.

## Capacity Report Export

The Capacity report can now be downloaded as a CSV, with one row per Service and the team member's Billable Target and Billable Capacity repeated on each row. Optional filters narrow it to specific Team Members, Teams or Regions, or apply the Fallback to Primary Coordinator setting.

![Sample rows from a Capacity Report Export CSV, with one row per Service and repeated team member columns](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/capacity-export-sample.png)

For more information, visit the [Capacity Export](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/exports/capacity-export) guide.

## Role Settings Shown on a User's Permissions Tab

A user's Permissions tab now shows a read-only box listing their role's whole-role settings from Settings > Permissions, named for their role. Any row overridden just for that user carries an Overridden for this user chip, showing their actual permission instead of the role default.

![A Team Member's Permissions tab with the Team Member role settings box listing greyed-out role-wide checkboxes, a Settings > Permissions link, and an Overridden for this user chip on Can view all notes and tasks.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/user-permissions-role-wide-settings.png)

For more information, visit the [Updating Roles and Permissions](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/roles-and-permissions#role-settings-shown-on-this-tab) guide.

## Pricing Shown Before Enabling SMS

The Enable SMS screen now shows a Pricing section - the dedicated number's cost for your current billing period, and the per-segment cost for outbound messages - before you read and agree to the terms.

For more information, visit the [Two-Way SMS](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/two-way-sms#read-and-agree-to-the-terms) guide.

## Years of Experience Report

Where your account is subscribed to Premium, a new Years of Experience Report is available to Admins, showing each team member's years of experience in disability and aged care and years of service with you, with workforce averages useful for tenders. Set a team member's Industry Start Date on their profile to count it towards their figures.

![The Years of Experience Report with the Average Years of Experience, Average Years of Service and Missing Industry Start Date cards highlighted above a staff table showing Industry Start Date, Years of Experience, Employment Start Date and Years of Service, with Add date links where a date is blank.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/years-of-experience-report-overview.png)

For more information, visit the [Years of Experience Report](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/reports/years-of-experience-report) guide.

## Exempting a Worker from Location Data

A single Support Worker can now be exempted from Require Location Data, so they can clock in and out, write notes, and record travel without sharing their location - even while the setting stays on for everyone else. Turn it on from More → Advanced on the worker's profile.

![The Advanced section of the Update User drawer with Exempt from location data ticked below Invoice Display Name](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/user-exempt-from-location-data.png)

For more information, visit the [Updating User Profiles](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/users/updating-users#exempting-a-worker-from-location-data) guide.

## Approved Kilometres on the Supports Report

The Supports Report now shows an Approved Kilometres column alongside the renamed Scheduled Kilometres column, so you can compare what was scheduled against what was actually approved at shift review. Hovering over either figure breaks the total down by Start, During and End legs.

![The Supports Report table showing the Approved Kilometres column next to Scheduled Kilometres, with values including a plain total, a total with a pending label, 0 km, and Awaiting approval](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/supports-report-approved-kilometres.png)

![The Approved Kilometres tooltip for a support, breaking the total down into Start, During and End legs with their own pending counts](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/supports-report-approved-kilometres-breakdown.png)

For more information, visit the [Supports Report](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/reports/supports-report#kilometres) guide.

## Referral Notification Email Details

The referral notification email now leads with the referral reference number and includes a details panel summarising the Reference, Participant, Form, Received and Status, so staff can see what's needed without logging in.

![A Referral Notification email saying a new referral has been received, with a details panel listing Reference, Participant, Form, Received and a Status of New, and a View Referral button.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/referral-notification-email.png)

For more information, visit the [Referral Notifications](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/notifications/referral-notifications-1#what-the-notification-email-includes) guide.

## Sleepover Bed Icon

Sleepover shifts now show a bed icon on a worker's Shifts list and in the Shifts PDF export, so they no longer have to be checked against the calendar. If the sleepover window doesn't cover the whole shift, the icon also shows a short time range.

![A worker's Shifts list with a bed icon on a whole-shift sleepover, and a bed icon with a 10pm to 6am time range on a shift with active hours around the sleepover window.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/worker-shifts-list-sleepover-bed-icon.png)

![A Staff Schedule PDF with a bed icon after the time of a whole-shift sleepover, and an outlined badge with a bed icon and a 10pm to 6am window under the time of a shift with active hours around the sleepover.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/worker-shifts-pdf-sleepover-bed-icon.png)

For more information, visit the [Schedule Colours](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/schedule-colours#sleepover-bed-icon) guide.

## Commenting on a Shift

Approvers can now leave internal comments on a shift in Shift Approvals, hidden from Support Workers. A comment count shows next to the Support Worker's name, and you can edit or delete your own comments.

![The Shift Approvals list with a comment count of 3 shown next to a Support Worker's name.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/shift-approvals-comment-count-badge.png)

![An expanded shift on the Shift Approvals page with an arrow pointing to the highlighted Comments heading, which shows a count of 3 and a note that comments are hidden from Support Workers, above two comments and the Add Comment button.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/shift-approvals-comments-panel.png)

For more information, visit the [Shift Approvals](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/shift-approvals#commenting-on-a-shift) guide.

## Editing an Answer Updates its Follow-Up Questions

Editing an answer on a submitted form now re-evaluates its conditional logic right away. Newly unlocked questions appear as "Not answered" ready to fill in, and answers that no longer apply move into a collapsed "Answers that no longer apply" section, restored if you change the answer back.

![A form submission with two newly revealed follow-up questions, OT goals and OT provider, each shown as Not answered with an Answer pencil icon.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/forms-submission-revealed-questions.png)

![A form submission's expanded Answers that no longer apply section, listing two set-aside answers with a note that they return if the controlling answer is changed back.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/forms-submission-answers-no-longer-apply.png)

For more information, visit the [Viewing Submissions for a Form](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/forms/manage-forms/submissions#follow-up-questions-update-when-you-edit-an-answer) guide.

## Auditor Access to Forms and Templates

Where your account is subscribed to Premium, Auditors can now view every Form and the account's document and note templates, read-only and across the whole account rather than limited to the Participants or Users assigned to them. They can open a form's fields or preview and download templates, but can't create, edit, submit, or delete anything.

For more information, visit the [Inviting NDIA Auditors to your Account](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/users/inviting-ndia-auditors-to-your-account#forms-and-templates) guide.

## Renaming a Calendar Event Also Renames its Task

Renaming a calendar event now renames the task linked to it, as long as the task still carries the event's previous name - a task renamed separately keeps its own name. On a recurring event, each occurrence is renamed based on whichever edit scope you choose.

For more information, visit the [Calendar Events and Tasks](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/calendar/using-the-calendar/calendar-events-and-tasks#task-creation) guide.

## Support Worker Hours Follows Your Pay Period

The Support Worker Hours panel on Approve Broadcast and Assign now compares a worker's scheduled and contracted hours against your organisation's Weekly or Fortnightly pay period, instead of always a calendar week.

![The Approve Broadcast drawer with the Support Worker Hours panel highlighted, showing Employment Basis Part Time, Contracted Hours (per fortnight) 48 hours, Start Date 01/05/2024, End Date Ongoing, Scheduled Hours (per fortnight) 30 hours (12 Oct - 25 Oct), Selected Shift Duration 4 hours, Scheduled Hours After Shift Assignment 34 hours, and Hours Remaining 14 hours.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/shift-board-approve-broadcast-support-worker-hours.png)

For more information, visit the [Shift Board Workflow](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/shift-board-workflow#support-worker-hours) guide.

## Filtering Invoice Batches by Region

The Invoice Batches list now has a Regions filter, matching the one already on the Invoices list. A batch shows under a Region if any of its charged Participants falls within it, and Unassigned catches batches with any charged Participant that has no Region set.

For more information, visit the [Invoice Batches](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/finance/invoicing/invoice-batches#filtering-the-invoice-batches-list) guide.

## Broadcasting Affected Shifts When Approving Leave

Approving a leave or unavailability request with Shift Board access now offers to broadcast the request's affected shifts to the shift board in the same step, instead of broadcasting each one separately afterwards.

![The Approve Unavailability drawer with Broadcast affected shifts to the shift board ticked, listing one row per Participant or group support with its worker count and a Review workers button](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/availability-broadcast-affected-shifts-approve.png)

For more information, visit the [Managing Availability](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/managing-availability#broadcasting-affected-shifts-to-the-shift-board) guide.

## Acknowledgements Tab on User Profiles

A staff member's User profile now has an Acknowledgements tab, listing the Participant Records they've been asked to acknowledge, with status and how long each has been outstanding. Send Reminder notifies them about everything still outstanding.

![The Acknowledgements tab on a user's profile, with Assigned, Outstanding, Overdue and Acknowledged tiles above a table of Records showing status, sent and due dates, and days outstanding. A Send Reminder button sits in the top right.](https://docs.astalty.com.au/assets/user-acknowledgements.png)

For more information, visit the [User Acknowledgements](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/users/user-acknowledgements) guide.

## Unpaid Breaks in Raw Shift Data Exports
