> Set custom weekly billable-hour targets per user.

## Updating Billable Target

The **Billable Target** on a User profile is that person's weekly target in hours. Astalty uses it in billable hours, capacity and supported dashboard calculations. Each User can have a different target.

1. Open [**Users**](https://app.astalty.com.au/users) and select the User.
2. Select **Edit** on the User profile.

3. Under **Other Details**, enter the weekly hours in **Billable Target**. The value can include a decimal and cannot be more than 99 hours. Entering 0 clears the target.

4. Select **Update User** to save the change.

Astalty records a dated target entry when the saved Billable Target changes. This lets reports calculate a target for the relevant period instead of treating the current value as if it had always applied.

The updated target is used by the **Billable Hours** home chart, **My Billable Hours**, **Team Billable Hours**, **My Capacity** and other enabled dashboard or reporting features that compare work or capacity with a target.
