> Configure your account, including business details, users, invoicing, security, and integrations.

The [Settings](https://app.astalty.com.au/settings) area is where you configure Astalty for your organisation. The first settings area you can access opens when you select **Settings**. Areas that depend on an account feature, module or add-on only appear while it is enabled.

## Settings Areas

### Business

Your organisation's core details: business name, primary region, contact email, website and phone, ABN and registration number, NDIS Registration ID and PACE Organisation ID, timezone, business address, and logo. See [Business Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/business-settings).

### Charge Items

Review Charge Items and, when Scheduling is enabled, Charge Item Sets. See [Charge Items](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/charge-items/overview).

### Users

Manage your team: create User Groups and Teams, define User Record Types, set billable targets, and keep user records. See [Users Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/users-settings).

### Participants

Tailor how Participant profiles work: build Information Items, define Participant Record Types, manage Participant Tags, and choose how Participant names are displayed. See [Participants Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/participants-settings).

### Documents

Create and manage Document Categories to organise files consistently across your account. See [Documents Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/documents-settings).

### Directory

Manage the tags used to categorise your Organisations, Contacts, and Plan Managers in the directory. See [Directory Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/directory-settings).

### Forms

Choose whether your External forms appear in the Astalty app, using **App Form Visibility**. See [Forms Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/forms-settings).

### Incidents

Create Incident Categories to group incidents for reporting when Forms and Incidents are available for your account.

To add a category, open [Settings > Incidents](https://app.astalty.com.au/settings/incidents), select **Add Category**, enter a **Name**, and select **Create**. To rename one, search for it, open its three-dot menu, select **Edit**, change the Name, and select **Update**.

To delete a category that has not been used, edit it, select **Delete**, then confirm **Delete**. A category already assigned to an incident cannot be deleted. See [Incidents](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/incidents) for the incident workflow.

### Invoices

Everything that drives and appears on your invoices: bank account and tax details (ABN and GST registration), the accounts email and additional invoice recipients, payment terms, invoice number prefix, invoice splitting, and the default invoice email message. You can also add claim references and Participant addresses to invoices and customise reminder emails. See [Invoice Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/invoices-settings).

### Scheduling

Everything that controls how scheduling works, split across a submenu of its own: **General** (behaviours, notes and visibility, notice periods, approvals, notifications and payroll), plus **Schedule Colours**, **Pay Groups**, **Cost Codes**, **Cancellation Reasons**, **Leave Types** and **Public Holidays**. See [Scheduling Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/scheduling/setup/scheduling-settings#scheduling-settings-submenu).

### Chat

Configure Chat after the feature is enabled for your account. See [Chat](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/chat).

### Reminders

Configure SMS reminders for scheduled supports or calendar appointments. This area requires SMS plus Scheduling or Calendar access. See [SMS Reminders](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/sms-reminders).

### Sites

Configure Site settings used with Scheduling. Site records themselves are managed from **Sites** in the main navigation. See [Sites](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/sites).

### Staff Payments

Configure Staff Payments after the feature and your Staff Payments module access are enabled. See [Staff Payments Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/finance/staff-payments/settings).

### Tasks and Notes

Set your Charge Intervals, configure Task settings such as email notifications when a task is assigned, and build reusable Note Templates. See [Tasks & Notes Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/tasks-notes-settings).

### Exports

Open [Settings > Exports](https://app.astalty.com.au/settings/exports) to see whether **Require reason for all exports** is **Enabled** or **Disabled**. To change it, select **Edit**, turn **Require a reason for all exports** on or off, then select **Save**. When enabled, users must provide a reason before creating any export.

Completed exports are downloaded from **Exports** in the main navigation.

### Resources

Manage the tags used to organise Resources when Resource Tags are enabled for your account. See [Resources](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/resources).

### Note Flagging

Create note checkers that automatically flag case notes for review, either for content you want caught or for expected content a note is missing. See [Note Flagging](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/note-flagging).

### Templates

Manage the individual templates used to generate Participant documents across the platform. See [Template Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/template-settings).

### Document Template Library

This is a shortcut within **Templates**, rather than a separate settings navigation item. Import a pre-written document template, such as a starter Service Agreement or Support Plan, and edit it as your own instead of building one from a blank page. See [Document Template Library](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/document-template-library).

### Imports

Bring data into Astalty and track every import. The customer create screen supports Users, Plan Managers, Participants, Contacts, Organisations and, when Scheduling is enabled, Sites. Case Note and Document imports are run with Astalty Support. See [Imports Overview](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/imports-overview).

### Security

The Account Owner can enforce two-factor authentication (2FA), control whether other users can disable their own 2FA, and manage another user's 2FA. App privacy is configured under **Scheduling > General**. See [Security Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/security).

### Data Management

Run bulk operations on your data, such as bulk-deleting Participant documents. See [Data Management](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/data-management).

### Integrations

Connect Astalty to supported accounting, payroll, calendar and eSignature services available to your account. See [Integrations Settings](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/integrations-settings).

### Regions

Group Participants, staff and sites by area, then filter lists, the schedule, reports and exports by Region. See [Regions](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/regions).

### API Dashboard

Create and manage API keys and webhooks so other systems can work with your Astalty data. The API is included with Astalty Premium; the Account Owner can always open the dashboard and can grant an Admin the same access via **Can manage API keys and webhooks** (see [Granting API Key and Webhook Access](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/roles-and-permissions#granting-api-key-and-webhook-access)). Webhooks are still in beta and enabled per provider, so contact support for those. Full technical documentation lives in the [developer docs](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/api/api-overview), including [setting up an API key](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/api/how-to-set-up-an-api-key) and [webhooks](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/webhooks).

### Optional Features

Turn additional features on or off for your account, including Chat, Scheduling, and Staff Payments. See [Optional Features](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/optional-features).

### Permissions

Review what each user role can do and, where enabled, change it across your organisation in [Role Permissions](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/role-permissions).

### SMS

Set up your SMS number and notification groups, send Participants reminders ahead of scheduled supports and calendar appointments, and use two-way SMS to message Participants. See [SMS Reminders](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/sms-reminders), which cover both scheduled supports and [calendar appointments](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/sms-reminders#calendar-appointment-reminders), and [Two-Way SMS](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/settings/two-way-sms).
