> Bring Participants, Users, Notes, and other records into Astalty in bulk.

The [Imports](https://app.astalty.com.au/settings/imports) page lets Admins bring existing data into Astalty from the templates provided for each import. Uploading starts validation first. For self-service imports, review the row results and choose which valid rows to import before Astalty creates or updates records.

## Getting Started

- [Imports Overview](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/imports-overview) explains order, matching modes, review, confirmation, and archiving.
- [Fixing Import Rows](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/fixing-import-rows) covers editable Plan Manager, Organisation, and Contact rows.
- [Import Results](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/import-results) explains import and row statuses, partial success, and failed-row downloads.

## Available Imports

Run dependent imports in this order:

- [User Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/user-import)
- [Plan Managers Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/plan-managers-import)
- [Organisation Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/organisation-import), before Contacts that link to Organisations
- [Participant Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/participant-import)
- [Contacts Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/contacts-import)
- [Case Note Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/case-note-import), run by Astalty on request
- [Documents Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/documents-import), run by Astalty on request

The [Sites Import](https://docs.astalty.com.au/guide/imports/sites-import) is available with Scheduling. It can run after Users if Site Managers need to be assigned.

Always download the current template. Do not infer accepted columns, file types, or update behaviour from the import's name alone.
