> Create and manage sites in Astalty, including the fields available on the site form.

Scheduling add-on - This feature requires the Scheduling add-on, which is available on Astalty Premium. See How to enable Scheduling.

Users limited to managed Sites can act only on Sites assigned to them.

## Creating a Site

Open [**Sites**](https://app.astalty.com.au/sites), select **Create Site**, complete the form, then select **Create**.

### Form Fields

- **Name** is required.
- **Type** is required. Choose **SIL House** or **Other**.
- **Default Support Type** is optional. Astalty pre-fills it on new Supports at this Site. Leave it empty to choose a Support Type each time.
- **Description** is optional.
- **Capacity** appears only for a SIL House. Enter at least 1, or leave it blank for no limit.
- **Site Manager** is optional.
- **Address Lookup** can find an address, or you can enter Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Suburb, State, and Postcode manually.

> Support Type on each one. Until you do, staff pick the Support Type themselves. If you haven't
> specified a Support Type, Ask Astalty books Other (Group Support for a group).

## Editing a Site

Open a Site and select **Edit**. Update its name, type, Default Support Type, description, capacity, or Site Manager, then select **Update**. Tags and the address are managed separately.

The edit drawer also shows **Archive** or **Unarchive**. Archiving is reversible, but Astalty will refuse to archive a Site while it has assigned Participants or a current or future published Support or Group Support. Remove those links first. Unarchiving does not recreate links that were removed.

### Updating a Site's Address

Open the Site and select **Actions > Update Address**. Use **Address Lookup** or enter the address manually.

**Update linked Scheduled Supports** is selected by default. When the Site's existing address changes, this also updates upcoming Supports and Group Supports that still use the previous Site address. Clear the option to change only the Site address. Select **Update** to save.

## Site Photo

A Site can have one profile picture.

### Adding or Changing a Site Photo

1. Open the Site.
2. Select **Upload Profile Picture** or **Change Profile Picture**.
3. In **Update Site Profile Picture**, drag an image into the upload area or browse for one.

The picker accepts one image and uploads it immediately. Adding another image replaces the current profile picture.

### Removing a Site Photo

Select the delete icon beside the profile picture, then confirm **Delete**. The Site returns to its default icon.

## Assigning Participants

A Participant can belong to multiple Sites.

### Assigning Participants to a Site

Open **Participants**, select **Assign Participants**, select one or more Participants, then confirm. If this would exceed a SIL House capacity, Astalty warns you and offers **Assign Anyway**. Capacity is a planning guide, not a hard limit.

### Viewing Assigned Participants

The table shows each Participant's name, Phone, DOB, NDIS Number, Primary Coordinator, and the date added. A SIL House with a capacity also shows current occupancy against that capacity.

### Removing a Participant from a Site

Open the Participant row menu, select **Remove**, then confirm. This removes only the Site assignment. It does not delete the Participant or change their other Site assignments.

## Site Tags

Tags are reusable, colour-coded labels. Manage them in [**Settings > Sites**](https://app.astalty.com.au/settings/sites).

### Applying Tags to a Site

Open the Site. In the **Tags** row on its profile, select the add control and choose one or more existing Tags. Site Tags are not fields in the create or edit form.

### Filtering Sites by Tag

On the Sites list, open the **Tags** filter and select the required Tags.
