## Overview

When you [create a webhook](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/webhooks/setting-up-a-webhook), select one or more Event Types. Astalty sends the event's identifier in the payload as `event_type`. Events tied to another account feature only occur when that feature is available and used.

To fetch this list programmatically instead of relying on the table below, see [Listing webhook events via the API](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/webhooks/listing-webhook-events-via-the-api).

## Supported events

Each event type links to its page in the [API Reference](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/api-reference/webhook-events), which shows the exact payload and the endpoint to fetch the record from.

## What you receive

Every event identifies the event type and related resource. Most send an empty `data` array. `job_application.created` sends a `data` object containing `screening_outcome`. Read [Webhook Payloads and Signature Verification](https://docs.astalty.com.au/developers/webhooks/receiving-and-verifying-webhooks) for the complete envelope and delivery rules.
